As a Naturopathic Doctor, I offer in office as well as telemedicine appointments. The initial appointment is 1 and a half to 2 hours long. In this visit, I will gather all of the information about YOU! Including medical history, family history, birth, and childhood history as well as a complete review of all of your systems. I want to know your whole story. What makes you, you!

This will give me good insight into the WHY of your health. WHY did your body become ill, or is not running optimally? Why is it happening to you and not your friends or relatives?

I believe there is always a reason for everything, so there is always a way to make it better!

There are many paths to feeling great here are some of the methods I use to get you there:

Concerns Addressed

Eliminating pain and inflammation

Enhancing immune system

Treating metabolic syndromes such as diabetes & blood pressure

Weight management & nutrition

Resolving digestive imbalances

Addressing mental and emotional concerns

Learning disabilities and sensory processing issues

Healing autoimmune conditions

Allergy elimination

Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic medicine or Naturopathy is the use of natural and non-invasive therapies to heal the body and prevent illness.  As Naturopathic doctors we are trained similar to medical doctors, we learn all about the body biological systems, the way they should be, what happens during disease, and how to bring the body as a whole back to normal health.  We study from cadavers and learn all of the pharmaceutical drugs.  We also complete thousands of hours of clinical work and internships.

Along with learning all of the modern medicine techniques, we also spend years in school and outside of school leaning the ancient and modern natural therapeutics.  We memorize and utilize all of the medicinal and traditional herbs, many that are the back bone to modern drugs.   We use the power of hot and cold water to stimulate the healing potential in our bodies.  We understand the cause and effect of the universal truths and can utilize it when treating with homeopathy.  We know the mind body connection and how to manipulate the mind to heal the body.  We respect the growth and evolution that we have always had with the earth and nature.

We also respect natural timing, cycles and rhythms that can be used to gracefully guide the body while healing.  We understand and most greatly respect the importance of the relationship we as humans have with the natural timing, cycles and rhythms of the planet that can be used to gracefully guide the body while healing.  Using modern scientific research and a millennia of traditional cases, naturopathic doctors beautifully blend the old with the new and bring about a deeper healing

My goal is to bring naturopathic principles to every home in America.  I want the world to know where to go and what they can do on their own as soon as they start to feel the symptoms of any kind of sickness, ailment or minor burn or sting.  By doing this, I believe we can create a healthier population which can excel in society and we can make the world a better place

Applied Kinesiology

Applied Kinesiology
Applied Kinesiology

Applied kinesiology or AK is a safe and non-invasive wellness therapy that uses muscle assessment as a tool for evaluating the neurological function of your body. It utilizes Chinese Medicine principles connecting organ systems and meridians to different muscles. This allows me to assess your body internally using your muscles as the guide. I can also use AK to assess whether the problem is structural, a body part, or organ system. Or Chemical, nutritional need, or toxicity. Or Mental, emotional or energetic. This helps narrow down the cause as well as the solution. I use muscle testing to see which adjustment, supplement, or home therapy will be the best to treat the imbalance in the body. This makes the treatment much more accurate and effective to see the best results.

The following techniques are useful ways that I can treat the imbalance once it is found. This is not an extensive list but just a sampling of some of the things that I use.

Neuro Emotional Technique

Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) is a psycho-emotional therapy based on the physiological foundations of stress-related responses. Situations happen, we have an emotional response and we have a choice. How do we react to that situation? Oftentimes, you will react and instead of taking time to express the emotion, we suppress it, avoid it, try to forget about it and the only option the body has is to store it in tissues. Each organ system has a different emotion that gets stored there. The goal is to identify the emotion and the situation and remove it from the body’s memory and thus resolving the physical problem.

Total Body Modification

Emotional Freedom Technique

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a revolutionary treatment method that offers healing from physical and emotional pain and disease. Without the use of needles, this form of acupuncture uses the fingertips to stimulate energy points on the body.

Brain Gym

Brian Gym is an understanding of natural movement patterns and how they relate to learning and performing. They are specific exercises and activities that address the whole body, call the “physical skills of learning and performing.” These exercises are critical to optimal living and learning. We can “learn how to learn” by stabilizing our vestibular balance, grounding our physical structures, and mastering self-calming. Doing so prepares us to master the physical skills required for the mental, cognitive, and language skills necessary for higher-order thinking. When the structural and physical foundations are in place, we experience less tension and stress, enhancing the flow of learning, performing, and communication.
